Mineral Survey Vessel

This type vessel was once used as a deep range survey vessel, used to explore planets and asteroids for valuable minerals, collect ore and transport it to refineries or back to the colonies. Unlike most large capital ships found in the Colonies, this type vessel was indeed capable of atmospheric decent and takeoff, though at a considerable cost in fuel consumption. At present one of these vessels is being used to warehouse livestock for the fleet.
