On March 19, 1965, Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker removed his personal belt from his waist and promoted Michael Robert Pick to the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt. Now Ed Parker's #1 student comes to UTAH to pass on what he has learned, at the Tang Wei Martial Arts Institue. Mr. Pick well be at this very special and thrilling seminar on Friday November 7 and Saturday November 8.

IN TRIBUTE TO THE EVENTS OF THIS WEEKEND,
A SPECIAL DEMONSTRATION WILL BE CONDUCTED BY
THOMAS R. GARRIGA
OF THE
TANG WEI MARTIAL ARTS INSTITUTE, INC.

The demonstration will be held in conjunction with the Combat Knife Session of the seminar on Friday evening at 7:00pm. Mr. Garriga will be assisted by a couple of his students from the institute Mr. Chris Midgley and Mr. Nick La Fasto.

The demonstration will last 15 minutes and will focus on weapon domination techniques and power drills.

Mr. Thomas R. Garriga is a first generation Ed Parker Black Belt who has graciously offered his school facilities for this event. Also expected to be in attendance is first generation Black Bell, Deon Steckling.
